An All-Star like Jimmy Butler motivates me in the mornings. His inspirational tale is being adapted into a film for people who are unaware of it. Here’s a brief synopsis of it: At the age of thirteen, he was expelled from his home and reared without a father. Before he moved in with a family that already had seven children, he spent years living on the streets. He was little recruited before going on to become a standout player in high school, a collegiate player (including junior college), an NBA All-Star, an NBA Most Improved Player, and an NBA draft pick at the end of the first round.
He also took part in shootouts alongside Michael Jordan, and a lot of clubs now see him as the key component missing from an NBA championship.
Here are a few videos that highlight his work ethic and how it has influenced who he is now.
And this is Butler clearing a 50-inch box jump after performing five sets of hard cleans and squats.
Trainee Travelle Gaines said, “He comes here at five in the morning, works out with his skills guy on the court, and then watches films.””He spends the entire day working out to get in the best shape possible.”
