Simba was born in Karachi, Pakistan, about two weeks ago and quickly rose to fame.

Nubian goats have the longest ears of all species, but Simba’s ears are even longer.

Owner Muhamad Hassan Narejo shared cute photos of his new charge.

A newborn goat might be named a record-holder a few days after birth with unusually long ears measuring 19 inches.

Simba the goat, meaning lion in Swahili, was born in Karachi, Pakistan, just a few days ago but has already become a local celebrity.

The adorable goat is believed to be around two weeks old, and its ears are so long that they drag on the ground as it walks.

Owner Muhamad Hassan Narejo already has affection for Simba and said, “We hope Simba will soon be a Guinness World Record holder.” Simba and his owner seem to have a special bond since birth in Karachi, Pakistan.

Simba’s ears could soon enter the Guinness World Records, believed to be the longest of any goat in the world. Although they don’t seem to bother him!

Born on a goat farm in Pakistan’s largest city called Nagra Farm.

Goat farming is very common in Pakistan, partly because they adapt to a variety of terrains.

Currently, there is no goat holding a Guinness World Record for the longest ears, but dogs have the same honor.

Simba, the goat with 19-inch ears, could achieve the Guinness Record. As soon as Simba was born, it was clear that his ears were unique, but even when struggling to walk for the first time, he didn’t seem to mind.

Owner Muhamad Hassan Narejo already has affection for Simba and said, “We hope Simba will soon have a Guinness World Record.” Now Simba is a bit more stable on his feet and has no issues with his beautiful ears, which at 48 cm long can drag on the ground as he runs.

The kid seems ready to take off with these giant flaps but seems to prefer the ground unless he’s with his owner. Videos taken by visitors show him very uncomfortable when less experienced goat lovers pick him up.

Simba must be careful not to outgrow his boots (he’s still being hand-fed and has much to learn about himself) and how to prevent his beautiful ears from tangling in the wind.

Simba’s long ears are probably the result of a genetic mutation or disorder, but he seems to get along well.

Goats generally tend to have long ears, but Nubian goats, supposedly Simba’s breed, have the longest ears of all species.

Goat ears serve a very important purpose as they help keep them cool in warm temperatures.

In Pakistan, temperatures vary due to the terrain variation, but in summer, maximum temperatures can reach 47°C.

Fortunately for Simba, temperatures tend to be significantly lower but still very hot, regularly reaching the mid-thirties in summer.
