Vini Jr. was selected the best player of the 2022–2023 La Liga season, and there were two Spanish Footballers’ Association (AFE) honors. The Real Casino in Madrid hosted the award ceremonies. The Madrid forward was named the winner by the football players. In the tournament from the previous season, he made 33 appearances, scoring 10 goals and setting up 8 more.
“I want to thank the AFE and all of my teammates for voting me the best player in Spain last season,” the Brazilian player stated after accepting the honor. This brings me joy, and I hope it continues for many more years.
